Since 2021, I’ve worked with tasks such as fundraising, press outreach, journalism, SoMe and project mangement for various independent artists, concert promoters, festivals and music venues as freelancer.
Communicating your artistic project properly – whether it be concerts or events, a new release or something completely different – always depends on your ability to explain it clearly and captivating to your audience group or the receiver in question. What I can offer is the ability to explain and write your press material or application, so it appears as captivating and graspable as possible – no matter the complexity of the project. In doing this, I rely heavily on my academic background in Philosophy as well as my work experience in communication and editorial work, due to which I’ve read and considered numerous press releases throughout the years as well as given editorial feedback on hundreds of articles.
I have a succesful track record as fundraiser for various different projects – spanning publications, events, journalistic projects and artist grants etc. This also means that I’ve a thorough understanding of how to structure funding applications in order to make them as convincing and clear as possible – a skill which I always apply in my work for my clients. In both my work with press and fundraising, I draw on my extensive network within the music and arts sector in Denmark and abroad.
